Below are pictures of Virgil and Rebecca’s dog friends enjoying their favorite sport (lounging in comfort) and a few other activities.
Two of our dogs are rescues through GAGC, a terrific organization.
Virgil finally took some pictures of Lucy, so they’re here as well, at the bottom of the page. She doesn’t mind being called a dog.
Virgil and Rebecca’s Dogs
Zelda on her first day in our yard , checking the perimeter (greyhound, retired racer, 2 years).
Zelda in her first snuggle with Logan on their day-time family room bed. We were thrilled to see this. Note the toys and dog blankets Zelda has dragged out.
Zelda wondering about this Ohio landscape. Seems different from Florida!
Glory, our “Princess and the Pea” who demands layers (greyhound, retired racer, 11 years).
Glory swimming in the deep end after a big snow.
Logan, our new boy, showing how easy it is to love home life and a comfortable bed (greyound, retired racer, 4 years, from GAGC).
Logan again, relaxed and loving us, happy to be near us at night and near his new friends, Glory and Alex.
Logan before his leg surgery to repair a badly healed break, looking a bit apprehensive about the whole thing. His leg is healed now, and he runs!
Alex, our happy teddy bear boy who died in Aug 2008. We miss his friendly smile and his loving nature (black lab).
Alex and Glory enjoying the snow: Alex by licking and Glory by sniffing.
Our sweet Lily, who died in Jan 2008. Much loved and much missed (border collie mix).
Here’s Lucy, our tabby. She looks deceptively sweet here. She actually likes to shred!
More of Lucy.
And here’s Lucy, just about to scratch. We call her the Cinder Block Cat!
